PATERSON — In a city where authorities say millions of dollars' worth of illegal drugs are sold every year, narcotics arrests happen all the time. On April 5, for example, a 23-year-old woman was arrested with a small amount of marijuana in the 5th Ward. The next day, a 41-year-old was accused of having heroin, crack cocaine and Ecstasy pills near a park in the city’s Northside. The day after that, a 30-year-old was charged with loitering to commit a drug crime on a notorious street in the 1st Ward.
